I am very happy with this hat!

I am always looking for the best sunhat, and this one by barrière is my new favorite. This Ombre print hat protected me very well during 3 days of hiking at high altitude. It is cute, has the handy carrying pouch, chin strap kept it on my head in windy situations. It fits well but doesn't completely ruin my hair. The wide brim fully protected my face and neck, and has some structure so I can shape it.
I like that the hat is made from recycled materials and allows me to look more feminine while suited up for hiking.

Nice hat but a little big

Mostly this is a great hat. For me, though, it's bigger than I expected it to be in two ways. I have a very small head and I got the small/medium version but it is still slightly large for me. Also. the brim is really huge, which is it's intent, I'm sure. However, I have to turn up the back brim to keep it from rubbing my shoulders and sometimes I have to turn up the front brim so that I can see. I think it's probably just right for many people, but you need to realize how large the brim is. I am still using it because it is pretty and it definitely keeps the sun off of my head!!

The best hat I’ve found

The Ombré Print Sun Hat is amazing. The malleable rim is perfect for the persistently changing sun direction yet still being able to see well. I’ve worn this in lakes and pools and it doesn’t keep any smells so far. The adjustable string is also awesome as it keeps the hat on my head if it’s windy. Obviously I love the print, though I probably wouldn’t garden in it due to how difficult it is to remove dirt stains in general…but I haven’t yet tried to wash it so stain resistance could be another amazing feature I haven’t discovered. I almost bought more but I’m going to restrain myself until there is a sale.

Great sun hat

Great sun protection and love that it packs up in the little bag. I have a pretty small head so this is a bit big on me. The strap keeps from flying off my head when it was windy on the hike. The brim is very large so offers a lot of sun protection.
